1、 Fancy yarn
Yarn with variations in appearance color. Colored spinning, multi fiber blended yarn, two component yarn (i.e. AB yarn).
1. Color spinning: dyeing before spinning
Yarn spun from fibers of different colors. Blending multiple colored fibers can make the yarn color very harmonious, with an effect that ordinary yarn dyeing cannot achieve. This type of yarn can be directly used for machines and knitted fabrics without the need for further dyeing treatment. Color spinning cannot change the existing color.
2. Multi fiber blended yarn: mixed first and then dyed
Using fibers with different dyeing properties to mix and spin, and then dyeing with dyes with different properties multiple times to achieve a similar effect of color spinning.
Characteristics: Dyeing has great flexibility and can dye different colors, while color spinning cannot change existing colors. The raw materials may have certain limitations, and generally choose components with different dyeing properties.
Example:
If a blend of viscose short fibers, cationic modified polyester short fibers, and bright triangular shaped polyester short fibers is used for spinning, the viscose fibers are first dyed with reactive dyes, and then the modified polyester short fibers are dyed with cationic dyes. The triangular shaped polyester short fibers maintain their original white color, thus obtaining the same effect as ordinary colored spinning.
Two component yarn (AB yarn)
Two sets of roving with different colors or dyeing properties are fed into the spinning machine at the same time, and then spun by roller drawing. Two different colored AB yarns can be folded together to increase the color variation of the final yarn (four colors). There is a noticeable color dot effect on the surface of the yarn.
