(1) Count: The count of yarn is expressed in metric units, with larger counts indicating finer yarn, smaller counts indicating thicker yarn.
The metric count refers to the number of yarns per kilometer of 1kg yarn. If 1kg of yarn has a length of 18000m, it is equivalent to 18 yarns.
(2) Twist of wool yarn and yarn: The twist of wool yarn and yarn refers to the number of twists per unit length. Twist has a twist direction, including "S" twist and "Z" twist. Twist generally refers to the number of twists per meter, and the twist of wool yarn varies with the number of yarns. In order to compare the twist of wool yarn and yarn with different counts, the concept of "twist coefficient" is commonly used.
The selection of "twist coefficient" generally refers to pure wool being greater than blended yarn, blended yarn being greater than chemical fiber yarn, high short wool content being greater than low short wool content, and fine yarn count being greater than coarse yarn count.
(3) Strength and elongation of wool yarn and yarn:
The tensile strength of wool and yarn is called strength. Expressed by the weight of the broken yarn, the length at which wool and wool are stretched due to breaking is called elongation.

If the raw materials are of good quality, the fibers are arranged neatly, and the twisting is appropriate, the strength of wool yarn and yarn will be higher, and the elasticity will also be good.
