★ Sewing process
We know that woolen sweater pieces can be woven by a flat knitting machine or cut by a circular knitting machine. However, regardless of the method used to weave a piece of clothing, it must go through the process of stitching to form a woolen sweater with wearing value. This process is also called garment making, which refers to the process of connecting the separate pieces and accessories of the sweater, such as the front, back, sleeves, collar, and placket, with stitching to form a woolen sweater. The quality of stitching directly affects the quality of a sweater. It not only affects the wearing performance of the sweater, but also plays an important role in reflecting the style characteristics and appearance of the product. Therefore, the suture used should match the piece being sewn, the seam should be flat and reflect the style characteristics, and the stitching should have sufficient fastness.
★ Sweating of wool sweater
Under humid and hot conditions, under the repeated action of mechanical external forces, the fiber aggregates gradually contract and become tightly intertwined, interwoven and felt like. This property is called the shrinkage of wool fibers. The process of using this characteristic to process woolen sweaters is called sweater shrinkage. The main purpose of woolen sweater shrinking is to improve and enhance the internal quality of woolen sweater products (making the fabric compact, strong, elastic, and warm) and appearance effects (beautiful appearance, rich and soft feel, and soft color).
★ Woolen sweater ironing
Ironing is the final process of finishing a woolen sweater, which is commonly referred to as the styling of the sweater. It is also an important link that affects quality. The purpose of ironing is to ensure that woolen sweaters have a long-lasting and stable standard specification; Beautiful appearance, smooth surface, with luster, full suede, soft touch, and elastic characteristics. Woolen sweater ironing includes four parts: heating, wetting, pressurizing, and cooling. The ironing process is related to the raw materials of woolen sweaters, and different materials should use different processes. Generally, ironing can be divided into three categories: steaming, ironing, and baking.
